Developed for safety, these are fragrance-free products with no synthetic preservatives, built primarily on EWG Green-grade ingredients. (The Lifting Toner and the men's all-in-one are lightly scented.) Because every product is built primarily on naturally derived ingredients, if you have allergy-prone skin we recommend applying a small amount to the inner wrist and doing a patch test before use.

It is developed for use on all skin types, for both women and men. That said, very sweaty or heavily oily skin may feel some discomfort after use, so adjust the amount you apply.

As you apply it, a net-like lifting film forms on the skin, drawing in wrinkles and tightening pores. The active firming ingredients within the film react with the skin's moisture and are gradually absorbed, helping to restore firmness.

The amount absorbed varies with your skin's condition. Some users may find a little film residue remains after absorption; if so, reduce the amount you apply. As your skin improves with regular use, any residue gradually lessens as well.

Every product can be used any time, day or night. That said, the Original Lifting Ampoule, Vita C Lifting Ampoule, and Lifting Mask Pack are designed as overnight products, so we recommend applying them after your evening cleanse and leaving them on while you sleep, so the active ingredients within the film absorb fully.

When using the two Lifting Ampoules and the Lifting Mask Pack, apply nothing after cleansing and use the product on its own. For the other products, if you apply toner first, leave a little time in between so it absorbs fully. Note that among other brands' products, anything containing oils cannot be used together with ours. Most oils can react with the DA99 formula and cause clumping or pilling. If you still wish to use one, always test a small amount and check how it reacts before proceeding.

The Original Lifting Ampoule is dissolved just before use, so it is best applied at its freshest, right after it is prepared. If you must divide it, keep it refrigerated and use it all within one week.

Every DA99 product is a functional cosmetic, not a medicine. So using it consistently is the best way to use it. As products from a brand devoted to slow aging — that is, skin longevity — long-term use as directed can help your skin recover its natural health and beauty.

The lifting sensation — the film drawing and tightening the skin — can feel similar to the tightness of freshly cleansed skin when an alkaline product has disrupted the skin barrier and its oil-moisture balance. In reality, though, your skin is not dry; it is going through the process of restoring firmness, so rest assured and enjoy the lifting sensation.

As the lifting film draws and tightens sagging skin and loosened pores, it can create a slightly dry feeling. To ease any discomfort, you may layer the DA99 toner over it, but we do not recommend layering other products. If the discomfort is enough to keep you from sleeping, we suggest keeping it on for at least 2–3 hours and then cleansing.

Once the lifting film has formed, layering an oil-based product over it can cause a reaction and clumping, so do not use oil-based products together with it. Also, while the film stays in place and the active ingredients absorb, avoid friction such as rubbing. If you need sun protection, wait until the product has fully absorbed before applying it. Even then, some products can react with the film's ingredients and clump, so always test a small amount first and use only products that give you no trouble.

Any remaining residue washes away cleanly with warm water and a soft cleansing sponge. We recommend a cleansing tool rather than your hands, and if water alone is not enough, use a pH-neutral cleanser as well.

After cleansing, it is good to tidy up your skin with the DA99 daily products — the Daily Lifting Toner, Tightening V Serum, and Tightening Gel Eye Cream.
